Welcome to the First Grade Classroom!
In our first grade classroom, the main focus is to educate the whole child. Not only will they be learning important core subjects and skills, but will also learn manners, responsibility, respect, and above all solid Christian values and how to practice them! Our school wide theme this year is "Use Me Lord." In first grade, we will be exploring ways God can use our students even at their young age. Our classroom is full of fun and enriching activities which get the students out of their desks and excited to learn. Different teaching strategies will be employed to ensure that children with all different learning styles will be reached and enabled to succeed. By the end of the year, students will have grown academically, emotionally, socially, and spiritually and be ready for the transition into 2nd grade.
