End of the Second Quarter
The second quarter ended on January 14. Congratulations to the 61 students on A Honor Roll and 28 students on B Honor Roll in grades 3-8. Report Card conferences will be the week of January 24th by appointment.
Open Enrollment
Enrollment for the 2022-2023 school year begins Tuesday, February 1, 2022. Every student must re-enroll at GHLS every year to secure their seat. Applications can be submitted through the School Choice website at dpi.wi.gov/choice. Residency documentation (W-2, recent pay stub, WE Energies statement, etc…) can be turned in to the school office, faxed to 414-444-9105, or sent electronically to ewoody@gardenhomeslutheran.org.

Save the Date: Black History Program
Students are hard at work creating this year’s celebration of Black History Month. This year’s theme honors the Historically Black Colleges and Universities that have profoundly influenced our nation for over 150 years. Join us on Friday, February 25th at 2:15PM in the gymnasium.
Upcoming Sporting Events
Come support the Garden Homes Viking basketball teams this week as they continue with conference play. On Friday, January 21st Garden Homes will be hosting Star of Bethlehem from New Berlin starting at 4:00. The C-Team boys, B-Team boys and girls, and A-Team boys and girls will all be competing for a tough conference win. The B-Team boys will also be competing in the Mount Calvary Tournament this Saturday, January 22nd. The C-Team boys and girls will be playing a make up game at Trinity Waukesha on Saturday, January 22nd.
