2025-2026 Gradelink Registration:
Garden Homes uses the Gradelink school information system not only to record student grades, progress, and attendance throughout the school year, but also to keep up-to-date contact information, pick up authorizations, and other vital records.
We request that each family update their school registration information annually through their Gradelink account (www.gradelink.com). If you have not yet done so, please complete ASAP. Contact the school office (414-444-9050) or Mr. Woody (ewoody@gardenhomeslutheran.org) if you need your family’s Gradelink login credentials.
Track & Field Season Recap
The girls and boys track and field teams finished off a successful track and field season at the LAA track and field invitational at Wisconsin Lutheran High School on May 9. The girls swept their relay heats and finished 2nd overall in their division. The boys showed grit and determination by overcoming some early injuries and finishing 7th. Thanks to all the student athletes for positively representing our school.
Classroom Spotlight – Mrs. Kroll
In 7th Grade ELA, students read an excerpt from “The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind,” which tells how a young boy who lives in a rural village in Malawi was able to create a windmill to bring electricity and water to change the lives of everyone in his village. A current missionary living in Malawi, Karen Kroll, shared about her life there with the students and cooked them traditional village food, called nshima, for them to taste.
Congratulations 2024-2025 Confirmands
On Sunday May 18th, four Garden Homes eighth graders became confirmed members of the church. Confirmation is intended to give those who have received instruction in the truths of God’s Word the opportunity publicly to confess their faith before the church. The rite informs the congregation that these individuals have sufficient scriptural understanding and spiritual maturity to partake of the Lord’s Supper. Confirmation lays a foundation upon which these students will build for a lifetime!
