Classroom Spotlight – Mr. Brown – Grade 8

In 8th Grade we've had an awesome start to the year. Week 2 we had a salsa making competition and then week 3 we practiced our art skills blindfolded. We're working on our worldviews in Religion, learning about the geography of the US in Social Studies and we just finished our unit working on powers and exponents in Math. In the next few months, we will get to see the Milwaukee Herd play at Fiserv and the Milwaukee Wave play at the Panther arena.

First Semester Service Project

This semester, our school is proud to partner with Street Angels for our first-semester service project! Street Angels is a local mobile outreach organization dedicated to supporting individuals experiencing unsheltered homelessness across Milwaukee County by providing essential supplies, warm meals, and hot showers directly to those in need. To support their mission, we will be collecting donated items according to grade level.

·       Grade K4-K5 can bring adult size gloves, hand warmers, hats, water bottles, crackers, fruit bars

·       Grade 1-4 should bring nonperishable items, water bottles, fruit cups, jerky, batteries

·       Grade 5-8 are collecting hygiene items, deodorant, soap, shampoo, conditioner, lotion, band aids, granola bars, water packets

Students can bring items to their classrooms starting in November.  Thank you in advance for helping us bring hope and modeling Christ-like love for our neighbors!

Classroom Spotlight – Ms. McAffee – K4

This week, our K4 students had a wonderful time celebrating the fall season with a fun and colorful art project. The children used different colored tissue paper to decorate their fall leaves. This hands-on activity helped strengthen their fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, creativity, and color recognition.
