Track and Field Season:

The 2026 Track and Field season is officially entering the final stretch! Our 6th, 7th, and 8th-grade athletes have been working hard every Monday and Wednesday after school, perfecting their body mechanics and sharpening their techniques for our upcoming competitions.

We have two exciting meets on the horizon, and we would love to see a sea of supporters in the stands!  The first all relay meet will be held at WLC’s Raabe Field on May 6^th after school.  The full track and field invitational meet at WLHS will be on May 8^th beginning at 8:30AM and continuing until 3:00PM. 

Spring Praise Concert Grades 1-4

On April 30^th, grades 1-4 will perform a spring concert medley of some of their favorite songs.  This will be held in the church sanctuary beginning at 2:30PM.  This is a wonderful opportunity for our school community to gather and be uplifted by the beautiful voices of our children. Whether you are a parent, grandparent, or friend, all are welcome to attend this inspiring performance.

Classroom Spotlight – Grade 4 – Mr. Tomhave

In our classroom, we are working on a science conservation project where students are researching an endangered animal and creating a trifold bulletin to share their learning. Each student is exploring and researching the animal’s habitat, why it is endangered, and the challenges it faces. They are also thinking about ways people can help protect these species and designing some solutions of their own. Our goal is to learn as much as we can about preserving God's creation and to help animals thrive.

Teacher Appreciation Week May 4-8

Teacher Appreciation Week is just around the corner! From May 4th to May 8th, we are taking the time to honor the educators who make our school a second home for our students.  We know our teachers love hearing directly from their students. A simple handwritten note, a drawing, or a heartfelt "thank you" means the world to them. Let’s come together to show our teaching staff exactly how much they are valued.
