Black History Program 2/28/25 2:15PM:
Celebrate Black History Month as the students perform song and dance routines highlighting popular artists from the early 2000s. Grades K3-8 have been perfecting their performances and are eager to show off what they have been working on. The program will begin at 2:15PM in the gymnasium with doors opening at 1:45PM.
GHLS Logo Clothing Store Open Now
The Spring school clothing store is currently open through Tuesday, March 4. There is a large selection of apparel available to choose from with many options that meet school uniform guidelines. All orders are shipped to Garden Homes and will be delivered directly to students when they are received.

Classroom Spotlight - K3 – Ms. McAfee
"We had an educational activity in celebration of the upcoming Dentist Day. The children got to learn the importance of dental hygiene in a hands-on way. We used a yellow tooth template to symbolize unhealthy teeth, showing how they can look when not properly cared for. Then, we painted the template white to demonstrate how clean and healthy teeth can shine bright when we brush and care for them. It was a fun and engaging way to learn about the importance of brushing regularly, eating healthy foods, and visiting the dentist. With these habits, they can keep their smiles sparkling."
Blood Drive at GHLS
Garden Homes is again partnering with Versiti Blood Centers to promote awareness of the life saving power of blood donations. On Friday, April 11th, Versiti nurses will be on site to accept donors. For those willing to make this vital contribution, an online reservation system has been set up.

Open Enrollment Wrap Up:
Thank you to everyone who completed the School Choice application for next school year. We had a record 377 applications during the February application period. This is a testament to the positive impact that we are having on student outcomes and the great word-of-mouth this has generated in our community.
