2026-2027 Open Enrollment:

Don’t lose your child’s seat! Beginning February 2, Garden Homes Lutheran School will begin enrolling for the upcoming school year. For grades K4-8 School Choice applications must be submitted each year online at dpi.wi.gov/choice along with residency documentation provided to the school.

Hang on to your We Energies bills, 2025 W-2s, pay stubs, or any document addressed from a governmental office. Bank statements, cell phone bills, internet service bills, and envelopes are not valid for Choice purposes.

Quarter 2 Report Card Conferences

Second quarter report card conferences will be held on Friday, January 16th open house style from 7AM-10AM and 11:00AM-3:30PM. Meetings will be held first come first served in your child’s classroom. Please, contact your child’s teacher if you are unable to attend.

Winter NWEA M.A.P. Testing

Students are beginning to take the Winter MAP tests over the next few weeks. GHLS utilizes the Measures of Academic Progress (MAP) testing platform to gauge student growth and progress in core subject areas. The results of these individualized assessments inform our curriculum and teaching emphasis throughout the year. Encourage your student to get enough sleep, eat well, and do their very best!

Black History Month Student Program & Dress Down Days

Celebrate Black History Month with us on February 27th at 2:15PM. The K3-8th grade program will explore the “A to Z of Black History.” Several themed dress down days are also scheduled:

• February 5: Color of the Culture (red/black/green)

• February 13: Kindness is Our History (yellow/gold)

• February 20: Black Out Day (all black)

• February 26: Black History Attire

• February 27: Classroom Black History Performance Theme
