Grade 7 Classroom Spotlight – Mrs. Walls
The 7th graders visited our federation’s secondary school Wisconsin Lutheran High School on Monday. They enjoyed hearing a chapel message from one of WISCO’s international students from Malawi and then were given a tour of the school by several Garden Homes alumni. Highlights included participating in a Phy-Ed class cha-cha, learning that students must display 10 fingers to pass wood shop, and seeing what was cooking in culinary class. Garden Homes encourages all families to consider continuing their student’s Christ-Centered education at WiSCO after 8th grade.
Fall Forensics Competition Results
Garden Homes is incredibly proud of our 11 forensics participants at last weekend’s WLHS grade school competition. The students worked hard to prepare a variety of different performance pieces. There were 5 first place blue ribbons, 5 second place red ribbons, and 1 third place white ribbon awarded.

Operation Christmas Child Service Project 2025
The deadline for our Operation Christmas Child gift drive is this Friday. Consider donating new toys, school supplies, clothing or other gifts to fit inside a shoe box to be sent overseas. This is a great way to share the love of Jesus with others on Christmas.

Grade 3 Classroom Spotlight – Ms. Techlin
This week in 3rd grade reading, we are exploring the planets and our solar system. Students are enjoying learning fun facts about each planet, what they're made of, and what makes each one unique. Our main focus is practicing how to find key details in informational texts. We are learning to look for important facts, vocabulary, and supporting details that help us better understand the topic. Students are using these details to identify the main idea of each section they read.
