Christmas Craft Night
On Thursday, December 7th, we will be hosting a Christmas Craft Night for all parents and students. The event will run from 3:30pm – 5:00pm. There will be crafts set up in
the gym for parents to create with their children. All projects created can be taken home and displayed this holiday season. All students attending must be accompanied by a parent. We hope to see many of you there.
School Closings
The snow over the weekend was a great reminder that it is the time of year when inclement weather can happen at any time. When weather strikes, check TMJ4 or FOX6 to see if school has been canceled due to snow or cold weather. If a closing takes place, we will also send an email and text message to all families. A test email and text message were sent on Tuesday, November 28th, at 10:00am. Please check to make sure you received the email and text message. Singing In Church
The children will be singing in church on Sunday, December 17th, at 9:00am. Students should arrive at 8:40am and go to their classrooms. The students will walk in together and sing two songs. Following singing, students will sit with their families. Please plan to join us for a sneak peek of the Children’s Christmas Program and to hear a great message at Garden Homes Lutheran Church.
Save the Date: Children’s Christmas Program
The students have been hard at work learning their parts for the Children’s Christmas Program. The program will be on Thursday, December 21st, at 2:15pm. Please mark your calendars. We hope that everyone can join us for an amazing program focusing on our Savior’s birth.
Basketball Tournament
The A-Team boys basketball team will be competing in the St. Marcus Holiday Tip-Off Tournament. This tournament brings teams in from around the state, along with teams from Indiana, Illinois, and Ohio. GHLS starts the tournament by playing St. Paul’s Fort Wayne at 5:00pm on Friday, December 1st. If you would like to catch some basketball games against some great competition, come cheer on the Vikings this weekend.
