Volleyball Champions 2025:
The girls A-Team volleyball wrapped up an excellent season with a championship trophy at the LAA Tournament. The girls came back from a first set loss to win the next two, beating a talented Zion Lutheran team. The Vikings put together their best game of the season at the perfect time. This is their second championship in a row. Congratulations to the players and their coach Mr. Aaron Bauer.

First Quarter Report Cards
We have reached the end of the first quarter of the 2025-2026 school year. Report cards were sent home this week and report card conferences will be held after school on Thursday, 10/23 and Friday morning 10/24. This is a great opportunity to strengthen our parent-teacher relationships as we partner in nurturing your child’s academic and spiritual growth. We are proud to report that 84% of students in grades 3-8 earned a place on either the A or B Honor Roll this quarter with a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
Grade 1 Classroom Spotlight – Ms. Bryant
Our first graders had a wonderful time during our apple-tasting activity this week! We sampled both Honeycrisp and Granny Smith apples, and students explored the differences in taste, texture, and sweetness. We even added fun toppings to our slices and discussed how the flavors changed. It was a delicious and engaging way to practice observation skills and descriptive language!

Operation Christmas Child
Each year Garden Homes gives students the chance to practice Christ-like leadership through servant leader projects. This year we will be participating in the Operation Christmas Child gift drive. Students collect gifts and pack shoeboxes that will be sent to children in developing countries all over the world along with a message about the true meaning of Christmas. Gift collection will begin November 1 with final drop off on November 21.
