Character Formation Project
Did you know that your children are not only growing in their academic ability but also their character? Garden Homes teaches the Character Formation Project, a Biblically centered bible study and devotional series, that emphasizes seven key character traits: Integrity, Diligence, Self-Sacrifice, Courage, Justice, and Responsibility, and Respect. Every afternoon classes study a shared bible story and consider how God wants us to live our lives which culminates in a chapel message at the end of the week.
Kindergarten Classroom Spotlight – Mrs. Fletcher
What an exciting week in kindergarten! Our children are learning so quickly, recognizing letters and numbers, counting with confidence, and solving problems together. These skills are setting a strong foundation for their primary school journey. We also enjoyed a wonderful trip to Apple Holler, where our kindergarteners showed excellent manners and represented our class beautifully. Their joy for learning (and exploring!) makes us proud every day!

Singing in Church
Thank you to all the families and students who made our Garden Homes worship service especially meaningful. The full school student choir performed “I’m So Blessed,” this past Sunday, which reminds us of the many blessings that our God has given us. We received many compliments from long time congregation members.
Grade 6 Classroom Spotlight – Ms. Krueger
It has been a blessing to get to know my sixth graders! We have been working diligently on using textual evidence in our responses during reading class. Also, we have been enjoying having students lead classroom devotions. One of our Fun Friday activities was creating mini clay sculptures of invented animals.
Volleyball Perfect Start
The girls A-volleyball team is undefeated halfway through their season. They are showing great teamwork and toughness with four games left in the regular season. Check the calendar resource on the GHLS website for upcoming chances to cheer them on!
